DFW restaurant pilot
Keep your focus
on the restaurant.
Give visiting salespeople a clear place to submit offers. Choose what you’re open to, protect your current pricing, and decide when a conversation is worth your time.

The proposed process
A better place for
the sales conversation.
When a vendor visits, your team can point them to the shield. The pilot gives that introduction a consistent next step.
- 01
You set the brief.
Choose the categories you’re open to reviewing and the requirements an offer should meet.
- 02
The visitor scans.
Your location’s QR code directs the salesperson to a vendor introduction and relevant submission process.
- 03
We help review.
During the pilot, a person checks the proposal against your criteria, including comparable quantities and terms.
- 04
You choose the next step.
Review qualifying offers on your schedule. Decide whether to ask a question, arrange a meeting, or pass.
This is a pilot in development. We’re testing the process with hands-on support before expanding automation.
Built around your boundaries
Useful information.
Carefully shared.
Vendors need to understand the opportunity. You decide which needs they can see and which offers deserve attention.
- Keep invoices and current prices out of vendor view.
- Set category, product, savings, and service requirements.
- Keep access tied to a visit and scan, with verification included in pilot setup.
- Choose whether contact details are shared.

Help shape the
restaurant pilot.
We’re inviting conversations with independent DFW restaurants that want a more organized way to handle visiting salespeople.
The proposed first group is up to five locations, beginning with two so we can give each team hands-on attention.

A focused setup conversation
Plan for about 20 minutes to choose one purchasing category and define your review criteria.
A simple next step for your team
Display your shield and direct visiting salespeople to scan and submit their information.
A short check-in
Plan for about 10 minutes to review participation, offer quality, and what needs to improve.
An honest assessment
Look at interruptions, useful proposals, comparable savings, and whether you would keep using the service.
Timing, participation terms, and any future pricing will be agreed before enrollment. You remain free to keep your current suppliers.
Why I’m building this
Restaurant teams deserve to stay focused on their guests. Salespeople deserve a clear way to present an offer that might help.
Built from experience working with North Texas restaurants. Developed with the operators who will use it.
A few useful answers
Before we talk.
Is Soliciting Shield ready to use today?
We’re developing a supported restaurant pilot. This page explains the proposed process and invites a conversation about participation. Full self-service accounts and automated invoice review are future capabilities.
Does this mean we have to change suppliers?
No. You choose which categories are open to offers, and you decide whether to pursue any proposal. The pilot carries no requirement to change suppliers.
Will salespeople see our invoices or current prices?
The pilot is designed to keep invoices, current prices, and private thresholds out of vendor view. We’ll agree how information is handled before collecting sensitive documents. Please don’t send invoices through the interest form.
Can vendors browse every participating restaurant?
The intended model ties access to businesses a vendor has visited and scanned. The pilot will test a practical verification process. Scanning a shared image alone will not be treated as proof of a physical visit.
How much will it cost?
Pilot terms and future pricing are still being developed. We’ll discuss the proposed arrangement before enrollment, and no payment is collected on this page.
